Central and Western District is a crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures. Home to both urban centers and suburbs the district attracts many locals and tourists alike. In addition to preserving historical and cultural landmarks from both East and West (such as Lan Kwai Fong and the Lo Pan Temple) and adding artistic flair (like PMQ and Tai Kwun), the district has also become increasingly dedicated to promoting sports.
This year, the "GA110 Hong Kong Inter-School 3x3 Basketball Championship 2025", will have its finals at Smithfield Sports Centre in Kennedy Town. This event is proudly organized by
GYM AESTHETICS, co-organized by the Central and Western District Recreation and Sports Association and Hon Wah College, and sponsored by
LIVE4WELL, Meko Water, Gatorade, and Cetaphil. The event aims to support the local sports scene and provide more competition opportunities for young people.
As the first inter-school 3x3 basketball event in Hong Kong to include primary, secondary, tertiary, and international schools, this year's tournament is themed "All Eyes On Me".
The event is bigger than ever before, with nearly 200 elite teams from local and international schools applied to compete for the championship. The finals will take place on May 11 (Sunday), and will feature an innovative "Sportainment" experience (Sports + Entertainment), blending thrilling matches, trendy fashion, and entertainment performances to further promote diversity and development in the Central and Western District.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong and
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University claimed the men's and women's university titles respectively.
La Salle College and
Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School were the secondary school champions, while
Yuk Yin School and
Po Leung Kuk Lam Man Chan English Primary School took the primary school titles. All these teams will return this year to defend their crowns.
